Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Warmth into the weekend before some frost
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It’s a mild morning in the 50s for most of us that will turn into another warm October day. Highs in the mid 80s will end up feeling pretty warm as they are more than 15 degrees above average.

South wind gusts could hit 20 to 25 mph at times into the afternoon as well helping to warm us.

Another warm day in the mid 80s is likely Friday too with a lighter wind.

Saturday should top out in the upper 70s which is nearly 10 degrees above average still. Sunday will be the start of some cooler air leading into the early part of next week. It will be cold enough that some frost is likely and a freeze is possible on some days. That is why Monday & Tuesday are 6 First Alert Weather Days.

Wednesday could still be in the 30s early in the morning too but beyond that we see temperatures warm a bit more by the end of next week. There’s even a small chance of rain by next weekend trying to show up on some models!
