Driver cited after two-vehicle crash in Southwest Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Several people had to be transported after a two-vehicle crash just before 8 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Highway 77 and Warlick Boulevard.
According to police, the driver of a Kia Spectra turned left onto Warlick Boulevard, resulting in a crash with a Toyota Corolla at the intersection.
LPD said there were three people in each vehicle. All six people were transported from the scene. Injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The 27-year-old driver of the Kia Spectra was cited for DUI, no proof of insurance, having no valid registration, having an open alcohol container in their vehicle and failure to yield.
