Grand Island Police identify four who died in South Locust crash
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Police identified the four people who died after a crash in southeast Grand Island on Sunday.
According to Grand Island Police, 23-year-old Daniel White Face of Gordon, 19-year-old Ateya Thorsen of Gordon, 22-year-old Juan Ramos of Grand Island and 18-year-old Alexander Ramos American Horse of Grand Island died in Sunday morning’s crash.
First responders were called to a crash near the Burger King restaurant at the intersection of South Locust and Stagecoach Road at 12:14 a.m.
GIPD said the vehicle was heading northbound on South Locust at a high rate of speed and crossed over the southbound lanes and impacted on a tree on the west side of the roadway. One person was ejected, while the other three were trapped in the vehicle. All four people were dead on arrival.
The Grand Island Police Department is still investigating this crash.
