CINCINNATI (WXIX/Gray News) - Authorities are searching for three suspects accused of stealing nearly $50,000 worth of shoes, including more than 100 single, right shoes.

Sole Bros 513 store manager Luke Kern said the owner called him early Tuesday morning and told him that the store had been robbed.

The suspects did not take money or expensive shoes, but more than 100 single, right shoes along with “several” full pairs of shoes, clothes and personal belongings, according to the store owner.

“I don’t know what their motive was in taking one shoe, not the pair and not the box. You can’t do anything with that. You can’t sell just one shoe. You usually have to sell it with the box,” Kern said.

Anyone with information about the alleged robbery is asked to call Cincinnati Police Department’s District One at 513-765-1212 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.

Sole Bros 513 is also offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects, according to the owner.
