Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Summer warmth to end the month
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The mornings continue to feel like fall but the afternoons are still hanging on to summer. A little bit of a south breeze all day will help turn the morning 50s into afternoon 90s.

Thankfully this happens as the dew points stay low so we don’t have to worry about humidity

A cold front is set to move through right around the warmest part of the day. That will kick up the wind behind it heading into the evening.

NNW wind gusts will likely spike to around 30 mph at times this evening and overnight but should back off by morning Tuesday.

That front will shave 20 degrees off our highs by Tuesday afternoon making for at least one day that feels like fall. Then we’ll jump back up into the 80s again for the rest of the week. Thankfully the humidity stays away as we dive into October.

We’re still looking at a 10 day forecast that has no rain chance to be found at any point.
