More fall-like Sunday before warming kicks in again
Omaha could see record highs again by Wednesday
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Saturday saw the temperature rise to 96 degrees, a new record high for October 5th.
This also tied the all-time record high in October for Omaha.
Sunday will see us return to more fall-like temperatures as we top out in the low 70s.

Winds will stay active with gusts that could top 25 miles per hour out of the northwest.

With very dry conditions still present, the fire risk will stay elevated.
As the work week goes on, we will go from highs in the mid 70s Monday up to the upper 80s by the end of the week.

In fact, record high temperatures will be within reach again as soon as Wednesday.
The best chance at this point looks like Friday, where the forecast high of 91 degrees would tie the record.

Saturday stays toasty for October before a cold front again cools for Sunday.
Rain chances remain absent from the forecast even into the middle of October.
