Lincoln Crime Stoppers: Man violently attacked with skateboard on O Street

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police are searching for a suspect involved in a violent assault that occurred on Oct. 9 near 14th and O streets.

Officers said two men were arguing when one man slammed the other to the ground and struck him in the head with a skateboard. The victim later experienced a seizure at home, where his roommate called 911. The victim required six staples to close a significant laceration on his head.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark-colored, possibly plaid, leather jacket with a design on the back. He was carrying a longboard-style skateboard with a design on the bottom.

In a second case, Lincoln Police are also searching for a man who punched out a window at Sandy’s Bar on 14th and O streets.

It happened on Sept. 15 around 12:30 a.m. LPD said the man also kicked the building and then ran away after being chased by the bar’s supervisor.
