Police investigating armed robbery at northwest Omaha gas station

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Omaha Police Department is investigating after an alleged armed robbery at a gas station.

Officers responded to a Kum & Go location near Emmett Street and West Maple Road in northwest Omaha just after midnight Wednesday.

According to a report, a white female and black male were caught taking merchandise from the gas station. The male “lifted up his hooded sweatshirt and showed a handgun” after being confronted by an employee.

Police say that the suspects left in a Hyundai SUV and headed east on Emmet Street.
