OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Bennington Fire Department responded to a fire Thursday morning at a house in the northwest Omaha area.
Crews were called to the area of Potter and North 144th Streets just before 5 a.m.
Officials determined that it was an electrical fire that was contained in the garage and the attic space above the garage.
According to a statement, there was damage to vehicles and to the garage, but not to the main house.
The Bennington Fire Chief says that smoke alarms alerted the residents, and they were able to get out safely.
