State boys golf moving to Grand Island 2025-2028

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The Boys State Golf Championship will be in Grand Island for the coming years.

The NSAA Board of Directors accepted the city’s bid for the Class C Boys State Golf Championship. This event will be held in Grand Island in 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028.

Jackrabbit Run Golf Course and Indianhead Golf Club in Grand Island will host the competitions.

District meets will determine who from among 12-15 teams will qualify for the competition in Grand Island on May 28-29, 2025.

Class A Girls State Golf in fall of 2023 was a huge success at Grand Island’s Riverside Golf Course.

The City of Grand Island has embraced the golf world with the addition of Class C Boys State Golf State Championships.

Grand Island Tourism and the Grand Island Sports Council are excited to showcase the quality of all three 18-hole golf courses in Grand Island.
