New COVID-19, flu vaccines coming to Kohll’s locations
The vaccine must first be approved by the FDA
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A new COVID-19 vaccine, made by Pfizer and Moderna, is waiting to be approved by the FDA.
The FDA is expected to meet on Aug. 15 to review the vaccine.
Kohll’s Pharmacy released a statement saying that it will likely take 5-7 days before it is shipped to them.
The pharmacy also said that everyone 6 months and older should be vaccinated with the new vaccine.
“Please contact us now if you’d like Kohll’s to administer your vaccines at your home, employer office, and senior care centers including assisted living facilities or skilled nursing facilities,” Kohll’s said in a release.
Kohll’s also said that they have a new flu vaccine that has been approved. It is now available at various locations. Kohll’s said is not the flu vaccine for those 65+ who have received a transplant.
“You can walk-in to a Kohll’s anytime to be vaccinated. If you sign up prior to coming in, then it will save the wait time of processing through insurance,” Kohll’s said in a release.
