Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Close to record warmth before some frost/freeze potential
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The morning hours Wednesday start in the 40s and 50s but we should be able to warm up more than we did yesterday. Highs will reach the mid 80s with sunshine and a very light south breeze.
The warming trend will continue the rest of the week with upper 80s likely Thursday and Friday. All of these highs will be close to tying records but ultimately each day falls a bit short.
Cool air starts to roll in this weekend with highs in the 70s Saturday and 60s Sunday. You’ll likely notice a NNW wind gusting to 25-30 mph at times Sunday too.
This leads us to back to back First Alert Weather Days Monday & Tuesday due to the potential for a widespread frost and/or freeze. Keep up with the latest regarding the first longer round of colder air here.
