Dr. Jeffrey Gold shares vision as new NU president during installation ceremony

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., was installed as the ninth president of the University of Nebraska on Thursday.
Dr. Gold began his tenure as president on July 1.
During Thursday’s ceremony, Dr. Gold outlined his vision for the university’s future.
The ceremony was presided over by Board Chairman Rob Schafer and included remarks from Gen. (Ret.) John Hyten, Gov. Jim Pillen, and U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer. The event featured an academic procession and musical performances.
