CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The #1 overall draft pick in the 2024 draft is set to play her first WNBA regular season game Tuesday night, just weeks after playing her final game in the Hawkeye black and gold.

The West Des Moines native has already made an impact on the WNBA before playing a game. Clark has helped the league embrace having charter flights available for all WNBA teams. Multiple WNBA teams have also moved their home games against Indiana to bigger arenas in anticipation of record crowds.

Clark starred in two preseason games for the Fever, posting a team-high 21 points in a loss to Dallas before helping her team win 83-80 against the Atlanta Dream.

The Fever play a road game against the Connecticut Sun. Tuesday’s regular-season opener tips off at 6:30 p.m. CT.

The game can be watched on ESPN2, ESPN+ and Disney+.
