WATCH: Jan Jensen introduced as Hawkeye women’s basketball coach

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - For the first time in almost a quarter-century, the Hawkeyes have introduced a new women’s head basketball coach.
An introductory press conference for new head coach Jan Jensen was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Jensen is taking over for long-time head coach Lisa Bluder, who sent shockwaves Monday by announcing her retirement.
Jensen is a long-time assistant, having coached under Bluder for 30 years.
