OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Fresh off making their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance, five of Creighton’s six seniors announced via the team’s X account they will return for their final year of eligibility.

The Bluejays’ leading scorer Lauren Jensen, Morgan Maly, Molly Mogensen, Mallory Brake, and Millard South product Jayme Horan will use their final year of eligibility to return to Creighton for a fifth season. Four of the Jays’ five starters from this past season are among this group of returners.

The lone senior not returning for the Jays is Emma Ronsiek. Earlier this week, Ronsiek announced she had entered the transfer portal.

Creighton’s season ended in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, losing to No. 2 seed UCLA, 67-63.

The Jays finished 26-6 on the year, making it their third consecutive season with 22 or more wins.
