LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - Fresh off their dominant win over UTEP, Nebraska prepares to welcome longtime rival Colorado to Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

The game will be broadcast on NBC 6 News with coverage beginning at 5:30pm on 6.2 COZI TV. Coverage begins on 6 News WOWT at 6:00pm.

The Buffaloes defeated the Huskers 36-14 in last season’s matchup in Boulder, CO. Nebraska will look for revenge with the series moving to Lincoln.

Matt Rhule had some notes on the Huskers’ performance against UTEP, and looking ahead to next week’s matchup against Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes.

In the game against UTEP, Rhule says he wants more pressure from the D-Line in a 4-man rush, and had nice things to say about Ty Robinson’s game.

Rhule says that he’s never been able to put in the second unit in as early in a game as he did against UTEP, and says that QB Heinrich Haarberg is “starter quality”.

For Colorado, Rhule says QB Shedeur Sanders has a “big time” arm, and has top-5 pick upside in the NFL Draft.

When asked if Nebraska-Colorado was a clash of cultures, Rhule said they’re a competitive culture.

Rhule says Nebraska-Colorado will be a good test for both teams. Nebraska will find out “where we are” after this week.

In roster news, Rhule says that WR Malachi Coleman is healthy, but Rhule wants to try and redshirt him in the coming year.

Rhule also expects a rowdy environment for this week’s game.
