LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Football moves up one spot in the latest AP College Football Rankings to #22 in the country. The Huskers defeated Northern Iowa 34-3 in week 3 to move to 3-0 for the first time since 2016.

Nebraska’s first Big Ten game of the season is Friday September 20, 2024, versus Illinois. The Fighting Illini are also 3-0 to start the 2024 season and are ranked 24th in latest poll. Illinois defeated Central Michigan in week 3 and also have an impressive win over Kansas on their résumé.
