'The legacy continues': Dayton Raiola commits to Nebraska football

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Another Raiola is coming to Lincoln. Sunday evening, three-star quarterback Dayton Raiola announced his commitment to Nebraska. Dayton, currently at Buford High School in Georgia, is the younger brother of the Husker’s current starting quarterback Dylan Raiola.
In addition to Dylan, Dayton will be joining his uncle Donovan Raiola, Nebraska’s offensive line coach, and his older sister Taylor Raiola, who works in recruiting for the football team.
The lefty QB becomes the first commit for head coach Matt Rhule in the 2026 class.
