WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WOWT) - The Huskers are hitting the road for the first time in 2024.

Nebraska (3-1, 0-1) takes on Purdue (1-2, 0-0) on Saturday, looking to get in the conference win column after suffering a heartbreaking overtime loss to Illinois in the Big Ten opener last week.

There’s only one way to watch the game, though: Peacock.

NBC’s online streaming platform has exclusive broadcasting rights to handful of Big Ten Conference games throughout the season, and this is one of them. There will be no telecast of the game over the air or on cable.

The cheapest option to watch Saturday’s game — and any event on Peacock going forward — is the Peacock Premium plan for $7.99 per month, which features the ability to cancel anytime.

Essentially, that means this game can be treated as a $7.99 pay-per-view, because viewers can purchase a subscription, watch the game, and cancel it right away if they wish. But beware: There could be other Peacock-exclusive Husker games in the future, so it may be worth keeping.

The decision to exclusively stream the game on Peacock comes from the NBC network itself as part of its deal with the Big Ten, not 6 News WOWT. Anyone wishing to leave a comment can call NBC’s Viewer Relations number at 212-664-2333.
