City of Blair issues boil advisory after positive E. coli test

BLAIR, Neb. (WOWT) - Blair residents have been advised to boil their water before consumption.
Officials announced Wednesday night the city’s water has tested positive for E. coli and should not be used for drinking, brushing teeth, washing dishes, or rinsing food without being boiled first.
The City of Blair assured its residents that it is still safe to bathe and shower.
Further testing will be conducted on the water Thursday and Friday and officials plan to provide another update once that is complete.
