Douglas County Sheriff looking for suspects in string of auto thefts

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in tracking down auto theft suspects.

DCSO posted a video to social media Wednesday, which features security camera footage of two people breaking into a silver pickup truck.

Deputies believe they are responsible for at least five reports of vehicle theft last week in two Omaha areas: 185th and Maple Street, and 204th and F Street.

Anyone with information regarding the identities of the suspects seen in the video are urged to call the DCSO tip line at 402-44-6000.
