Shooting at northwest Omaha lounge leaves two hurt
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A shooting at a northwest Omaha lounge left two people hurt early Saturday.
OPD tells 6 News officers were called to the Ko-Zee Lounge near 60th and Hartman Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Witnesses told officers a Black male entered the south smoking area and fired a handgun “several times.”
Officers later learned one victim, a 28-year-old male, was taken to Immanuel Hospital by private vehicle. He was shot several times, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
A second victim, a 26-year-old female, was taken to Nebraska Medicine with a single gunshot wound to her leg, which was not considered critical.
