Bellevue Police looking for suspect in high school burglary

Bellevue Police are searching for the man pictured in the above security frame, who's suspected of burglary at an area high school.

BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) - Police are asking for tips to identify a suspect in a break-in at Bellevue East High School.

A security camera photo shows a male in the parking lot riding a fat tire mountain bike. The investigator says the suspect broke into the building at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

The alleged burglar made off with two backpacks, an iPad, headphones, some candy, and soda.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call Bellevue Police at 402-293-2471 or submit an anonymous tip via Sarpy County Crime Stoppers at 402-592-STOP.
