Fremont Police searching for man accused of sexually assaulting three children

FREMONT, Neb. (KOLN) - The Fremont Police Department is searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting three children in Dodge County.
Police are attempting to locate 39-year-old Hugo Campos, who has an active warrant for five counts of first degree sexual assault of a child and four counts of third degree sexual assault of a child.
According to the affidavit, Campos is accused of assaulting two girls between the ages of 12 and 16 over the past few years and a boy under the age of 14.
The female victims reported finding cameras in several rooms in their home and stated Campos was showing erratic and odd behavior, the affidavit said.
During several interviews, one female victim reported she was sexually assaulted at least five different times by Campos, from 2017 to 2020, the affidavit said. The victim said she remembered being in the 3rd grade when the sexual assaults began and it ending during the summer of 7th grade.
The second female victim reported Campos sexually assaulted her several times between 2017 and 2019. According to the victim, the sexual assaults began in the second semester of 6th grade and continued into the 7th grade.
On February 15, 2022, investigators interviewed the male victim. The victim reported Campos sexually assaulted him in his bed in 2021. According to the affidavit, the victim was in 1st grade at the time.
Initially, after the allegations, Campos was scheduled for an interview. However, police said he did not show up.
