Police investigating after three men assaulted, robbed in downtown Lincoln hotel

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police is investigating after three men were assaulted and robbed while in a downtown Lincoln hotel Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a hotel near South 9th and O streets just after 2 a.m. and spoke with three men from Illinois and Iowa.

The victims reported they had been at a bar in downtown Lincoln and walked back to their hotel. Police said when the victims got to their floor, they were assaulted by three other men. According to LPD, one victim lost consciousness during the assault, and one had their wallet stolen.

LPD said $75, including the contents in the wallet, were lost in the reported assault.
