Omaha man turns himself in following Saturday smoke shop shooting

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - An Omaha man turned himself in to authorities Saturday night following a shooting at a smoke shop that left one man critically hurt.

OPD tells 6 News officers were called out shortly before 4 p.m. to 402 Smoke Shop at 108th and Emmet. The 18-year-old was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was taken to CUMC-Bergan Mercy Hospital.

During its investigation, OPD says 21-year-old Traveion Green turned himself in at police headquarters. He was booked into the Douglas County Jail for first-degree assault and using a gun to commit a felony.
